The Saucony Tempus is the first lightweight, tempo shoe to offer stability and support. By combining their own PWRRUN PB foam with the PWRRUN foam, Saucony creates the best of both worlds. You may know the PWRRUN PB foam from the lightning-fast versions of the Endorphin Pro and Endorphin Speed. It provides softness, resilience and endless energy return during running. This superfoam is also ultralight. The “plain” PWRRUN foam is characterized by its stability and firmness.
The two materials were not put together haphazardly. The PWRRUN foam sits around the foot like a frame. The deep contouring means the foot is firmly encased in the material and you are supported from landing to setting off. This golden combination makes the Saucony Tempus a lot lighter than other running shoes with a (slightly) supportive feel.
